(More customer reviews)Overall this is good seat.It is light weight and seems pretty sturdy.However, the turbobooster comes in many models, of which it is difficult to tell the subtle differences.I bought this one because the description says it comes with the Gracopedic luxury foam on the seat and padded side pillows.But contrary to the item description, this does not come with the side pillows.
Babies R Us offers similar models with both the upgraded seat and side pillows--they are called Abbey or Roanoke.This is the only model that comes with the neck pillow.

Baby Boy - Decorative Pillow Review

(More customer reviews)I like this bed. My 20 Month old actually sleeps in it. I think it's because it's low enough to the ground that he can climb in and out whenever he wants.

I do have some gripes though: some of the peices of wood were either cracked or split near the screw holes (which leads me to believe that I received a unit that had been previously used - or at least had been put together by someone else and returned), a couple of the boards that connect to hold the mattress have cracks in them that appear to have been glued and were warped (slightly curved, like an arc), and the cams and cam bolts to assemble the trundle drawer are missing so I have no where to store my son's clothes.

Overall, it's a nice unit. I think that instead of just listing that the unit can use standard crib mattresses, the online description of the unit should include that it is not made for mattresses that are over 4 1/2 inches thick. My son's crib mattress is 5 1/4 inches thick and is to tall for the saftey rails. I would also suggest that folks inspect ALL parts and make sure all parts (screws too) are accounted for prior to beginning assembly.

(More customer reviews)When I found this online, I thought it was super cute!And I thought it looked very nice, however when I got it, I was extrememly disappointed.This is made of VERY cheap material.The material is all of the same quality, BAD.An easy way to explain it is the pink dust ruffle is see through.The colors are no where near as viberant as they appear online.I really took none of it out of the packaging as it was so apparent when I picked up the pillow that it was cheap.When I opened the quilt (which I would consider this more of a comforter) the "ruffled" material is simply a piece of material cut off and left, no finishing edges.Avoid this set!

(More customer reviews)I wanted my baby to have all the organic gear so I spent the extra money to upgrade on this product to organic.The "mattress" cover and blanket were cheaply made.In fact, I didn't use the cover at all.I also couldn't figure out if the mattress was cut too big or if the mattress cover was too small, but I really struggled to get the cover on after washing and air drying.After washing the mattress cover the first time, the seam came apart in one area.I liked the basket though.If I were to do this again, I still would have purchased the Tadpoles basket, but just not in organic--wasn't worth the extra money.

JJ Cole Collections Body Support, 0-8 Months Review

It fits well in his car seat (Baby Trend), provides excellent support for his whole tiny body, and matches the seat well on either side (we purchased gray/ivory). I love that the head support is detachable, it wont fit or be needed for much longer, but the body support pillow might be used for a few months. Even at just 6lbs though, he already looks a little squished in the seat. Mainly the head support part. I have to gently push his head back into the head insert to get his head to fit nicely. Our car seat has a built in head "cup" so that might be the reasoning behind him looking a little squished. I plan on using the head support for a few weeks and then just using the body portion from then on. Even in a normal car seat I can't see the head support part fitting for too long.

Overall this is a great item and it's by far the best I've seen on the market.

(More customer reviews)My daughter has always been a horrible car seat rider.She hated even getting put into it for 5 minutes, and it didn't matter how fast we went, how loud we turned up the music/white noise, or what we did to try to make the trip better...it didn't work.
I had gotten one of those flimsy baby "head support systems" at my baby shower (the kind that looks like an upside down 'u' and has a thin cloth lining) and we were using that in her car seat when I was recommended SnugZee's by a trusted friend.
SnugZee's have made my life SO much better. The head support system is great for all ages.When you have a newborn it helps to keep their head from falling forward (a suffocation risk!) and as they age it keeps their head from flopping left to right.I feel more secure knowing that if I get into an accident, the soft, plushy pillows will prevent her head from being whacked around the hard car seat; which is something that the u-shaped "head support systems" would not be able to do.
I have bought many of these for baby showers and plan on investing in another one for our second car seat!
This product is a great investment and can really give you peace of mind about your child's safety, from birth into infant-hood!
