(More customer reviews)I once thought all tummy time gyms were the same and didn't understand why some were so expensive. Now I see why. A lot of thought went into the making of this quality product. The mat itself has lots of "activity" perks like different textures and squeaks. The three hanging toys it comes with all "do" something. One is a pleasant-sounding chime, one is a vibrating whale, and one is a light-up monkey that plays three mini songs--all of which are tolerable to this adult's ears! The mirror and pillow are also great. I love how you can remove the toys and affix them onto other things you may have around the house (or the car seat, etc). The monkey can sit upright even when it's not dangling, which I find a great design. Overall, I'm quite pleased. My two-month-old daughter definitely responds to the toys, although gets over-stimulated after awhile. I suspect she'll grow to love it more over time. Regardless, it's been great and I can see her taking a liking to some of the toys even beyond the tummy time days.

(More customer reviews)My daughter is 10 weeks;I haven't given her much 'tummy time' because as soon as I laid her on her tummy, she'd either cry, or fall asleep.I bought the mat, hoping it would spark her interest, and she would start to actually enjoy tummy time.I got it in the mail today, filled the water part, and tried it out; total success!She lay and stared at the floaties for about 15 minutes; then she looked at the toys on the rings for another 10 minutes each.My only complaint is that the rings come apart too easily.Oh, yah - it is pretty thin; since I have hardwood floors, I put a blanket under it.

Now my daughter enjoys her tummy time and the toys attached to the pillow support keeps her entertained. I love how it easily rolls up, it makes it very easy to store and travel with. I definitely recommend this product, for me it was a life saver!

(More customer reviews)This is the second of these activity type mats that we have had. For our first son we were gifted a Baby Einstein one with a musical star. The star was popular with him for a long time. However this time I wanted one that came with something to promote tummy time. Looking at the Boppy branded one, it just seemed a little plain. I loved the graphics on this mat the first time I saw it. I like the way the bars clip to the mat with those plastic snap in latches. I do wish there were a couple more toys (there are 5 to hang plus one carrot rattle attached to that mat) but right now my son is totally enraptured by this mat and that is the important thing!

(More customer reviews)I love the colors of the gym.I have twins, a boy and girl, and it seems to be right for both of them.I like that the gym arms fold closed just by twisting the button at the top.So I stick the whole thing in the corner of the closet at night.I like that the gym is roomy under the arms.The toys are cute too.My babies tolerate tummy time better when they are on the little pillow.Our home and furnishings are a mix of contemporary and sort of retro.And so this gym fits our personality.Also my son is a real spitter-upper.And I have already unbuckled the mat from the arms and washed it.The colors stayed bright and I just rebuckled the mat to the arms and we were all set again.It's a good buy.

(More customer reviews)I would give this 5 stars just for its use as a pregnancy pillow.It was great because it is firm so it didn't sag and gave me the support I needed and wasn't so huge that it took up the whole bed.Then I opened it up and used it for my baby's tummy time and the short barrier kept the dog out so it stayed clean.We did that for about the first 2 months until he got too tall to fit.I didn't use it as a nursing pillow at first because it seemed too big and awkward, but I put it behind my back so I could sit up in bed to nurse.Now my baby is 4 months old and I just purchased a glider (should have done that 4 months ago) and I have rediscovered this pillow because it is big enough that my 16lb 4 month old can still lay on it to nurse while I rock him.I have recommended this to friends.oh, and another reviewer mentioned it is hard to clean, so I kept mine covered with 2 standard pillowcases.

The product description does not tell you ALL that this mat has to offer...the lady bug face makes a cracklin noise where ever you touch it, that defintely catches your baby's attention AND thenose of the ladybug is a horn! The left hand also has the cracklin noise along with a rattle in it AND there is even a "peek a boo" part on the mat itself. I highly recommend this mat, you won't be disappointed!!!

(More customer reviews)I purchased a Boppy pillow prior to purchasing this pillow from another website.After struggling with the boppy constantly sliding off my lap and feeling like I had to hold onto the pillow and the baby for dear life or they would both slide to the floor (I have a wiggly baby), I went looking for another pillow.I found this one and I have been fairly happy with it.It still slides around on my lap some, but there is more room so it is more secure and my baby seems to like it better.His head is more elevated and there is more room for him on the pillow to sprawl out.He often falls asleep on my lap on the pillow.I do have some complaints though.The fabric is very thin, allowing polyester fibers to creep through and the pillow sheds them all over his feet, hands and clothes.The fabric stains easily because it is so dark (much darker than it appears on the website--medium to dark denim colored) and surface washing doesn't get rid of the stains.The product description says "machine washable" but the product information that comes with the pillow recommends against it and says that the pillow won't hold it's shape if you machine wash it.The pillow hasn't held it's shape anyway because the pillows don't have very firm stuffing.The Boppy pillow I had was stuffed firmly.This one is very squishy, more like a cheap bed pillow.The top pillow is held on with a velcro strap so that you can flip it back and forth when you switch sides (a handy feature), but the strap is causing the bottom pillow to smash down in the center so the pillow has a tendency to "fold up" like a book, when the baby is on it.Also, because he is a wiggler, the top pillow tends to twist around the bottom pillow.I still much prefer it over the Boppy, but I wish there was a happy medium.I gave it four stars because I like it that much better than the Boppy, in spite of it's flaws.
