It was fine in its capacity to do what it was built for when i had a newborn, but it's been indispensable as a toddler item as well. My from around age 1-now (she's 3) I could bathe my little one in the shower with me by having her sit, and later stand on this next to me. It's comfortable, retains heat, and provides a super safe non-slip island in the shower. I've even used it as a head and back pillow for me during soaks-- it's awesome!! It washes beautifully in the laundry, dries hanging between uses, and has been super durable. When my 5 year old showers by herself, she uses it as a comfy mat to stand on too. Excellent on all fronts, and money well spent. I've been using this daily for almost 6 years. How many baby purchases can we say that about??By the way I had the blue one, and this is even improved further with the addition of the hanger.Really great product.
