(More customer reviews)I was so excited to get this slip cover, so I could quit using blankets to pretect my daughters lounger from spit up, droll, poo explosions, and all that other fun stuff we mothers go through.Anyways, this has not let me down.I have washed it a few times and it has not shrunk and has stood up very well.The material is very soft not like your typical scratchy cotton covers bopppy has, but much thicker and much more soft. I would not recommend buying the lounger without one of these covers....they are a must!!

(More customer reviews)This cover is 100% cotton and quite soft, unlike the cover that comes with the Snoogle. It feels like a nice T-shirt, and it's easy to put on because of the zipper. I'm still a bit irritated that the Snoogle doesn't come with a 100% cotton, soft, zippered cover, but alas, it doesn't. And given how much time I spend with my Snoogle, I decided it was worth spending the extra money to have a nicer feeling cover. I'd give it five stars if it didn't seem like such a rip-off.

(More customer reviews)This item was very poorly made. I was afraid that it wouldn't even stand up to a wash, or putting it on the pillow. The zipper was very cheap, the fabric was thin and scratchy. It did not match the description online (or the packaging that it came in.) I immediately returned it. Now, I just wrap my pillow in a jersey sheet and it is much preferable.

Boppy Classic Nursing Pillow with Soft Boa Slipcover Review

(More customer reviews)Maybe not an essential to breastfeeding, but once you get one you'll wonder how you could have survived without it. I didn't use mine because my lactation consultant showed me how to arrange a few pillows, telling that was better than any expensive nursing pillow. And I thought, "this works, why mess with a good thing?"

But after weeks of struggling with unusually long nursing sessions with my latch-challenged son, my husband says, "Why don't you try the boppy?" Why? Because I have my carefully arrange pillow system, thank you. And this is as comfortable as it's going to get. But I gave it a shot and WOW! After the first time I was hooked. I didn't have to support my baby's body as much, and within a couple of weeks was even able to nurse with one hand free.

The Boppy pillow allows me to sit in many more positions, since now I only have to worry about ONE pillow and can easily adjust it. Also, now that he's a little older, I use it toprop him up to sit and face me. Also, he likes to lay on it with his chest supported, which frees his hands for grabbing fun things to shove in his mouth.

I chose this particular nursing pillow because it doesn't have any straps or crazy add-ons. I just wanted something simple. I chose this cover design because it's super soft and thick. I'm sure it feels nice on his bare back when he nurses in just a diaper. And with all the adorable baby stuff you get as a mommy, it's nice to have a classier, more adultish design. My son loves the three little bears on it and tries to eat them.

The covers washes well. I wash it in cool water and drip dry. It dries quickly, within a few hours. I haven't found that I need a second cover.

I would definitely recommend this pillow to any mother, especially if you're nursing. Have fun with it! You'll be surprised by how such a simple design is so awesome.

However, it's not reversible in the way you might think; I assumed that "two-sided" meant you could turn the pillow case inside out to reveal the complementary pattern, but what it really means is that you can flip the Boppy over to see the other pattern -- it's flowers on the top and stripes on the bottom. (The side with the stripes has the zipper across the broad part of the pillow, so you probably wouldn't use it with this side up.) Just thought that was worth pointing out....

(More customer reviews)The Uptown Dots Boppy cover is actually much lighter in color than pictured here; it's not unattractive, but the colors are much more on the pale pastel side. More to the point, the fabric is a cotton muslin that's thin and a little coarse (you wouldn't want sheets made from this material) and since the washing instructions say to dry it only on the "low, delicate cycle," it seems pretty clear that it's ready to shrink upon washing.

However, when it arrived today, I was greatly disappointed at how only the top side is the soft material and the bottom is the regular cotton. I knew it was reversible- but the picture makes it look like the cotton-print side in on the INSIDE (and can be reversed if wanted), not on the bottom as it really is.

(More customer reviews)One of my closest friends raved about her Boppy and told me how she could not have lived without it. I ordered this one and it's so cute...only drawback, it smells very TOXIC. It is made in China and after opening mine and getting gassed by it's smell (and it is not from the packaging, when I let it sit out a while and then put my nose up to the inner cushion that is where the fumes are emitted from) well, after this happened I researched a bit about BOPPY online, turns out their products are made in China, and they've had several recalls, one being the zipers were painted with Lead Paint and also were loose and a choaking hazard. It bothers me when baby manufacturers, claiming to make helpful wholesome products, skimp and choosing China as the site of manufacturing is in my opinion SKIMPING big time! I'm sure Boppy has great profits.

(More customer reviews)I wanted to get a few new covers for my Boppy with my new baby on the way and the Emily's Garden cover struck me as being very cute and not too "pink" as some of the other girl covers are.The quality and texture of this cover is the same as other Boppy covers, which I have used before without issue.I'm expecting this will wash and wear as well as they do.

The only thing I would caution on is that the picture of the item (not just on Amazon but other sites as well) is almost beige or a light tan.In reality, the background color of this cover is white.I'm okay with that, but it will show dirt a little easier than I had anticipated when I placed my order.

(More customer reviews)This fabric is strangely rough. It's not so bad that it scratches, but it's not as soft as I would have liked. Plus, the fabric is pulling away from the zipper a little creating a hole. (It started ripping after just a few months of rotating use, so not even full time use.) I don't know if I just got a bad one, but the two other boppy covers haven't ripped at all. I love the organic one with the peapods on it--VERY soft. I would steer clear of this fun spots print though.

Boppy 100% Organic Cotton Slipcover Review

(More customer reviews)This one was more expensive than the others but I wanted a neutral colour that was not too baby-ish or really bright and stand-out-ish (sorry about the poor English it is 5:30am :-)
The material is soft and thick. The $10 ones in the store felt very thin and rough.
Drool and spit-up do not show up on this creamy colour. When baby's diaper leaked during a feeding yesterday I scrubbed in some prewash stain remover thoroughly before putting the cover in the wash. I love this cover too much to get a stain on it and, being a plain colour, a dark stain would show up more easily. If it was more patterned I probably would not have been so thorough as any light mark left after washing would be hidden in a pattern.
I just purchased a second one of these for when the other one is in the wash so i have two the same.
