(More customer reviews)I'm not sure why so many people are rating this product when they obviously have never used it..I guess you all think that we 'neglectful' mothers are throwing this thing around our baby's necks, tossing them on the floor flat on their backs, and leaving the room so that they can choke to death, right? Are you KIDDING me????!! Geez...
I use the baba buddy once a day, when I'm cooking dinner. I put my daughter in her high chair (slightly reclined), and roll her into the kitchen with me. I love that I get to spend that extra time with her, and she loves watching mommy move around the kitchen. I am never more than 5 feet away, and I'm constantly watching her if she happens to cough or gets full. I have'nt yet needed it on an outing to the mall or a long car ride, but its great to know that help is there if and when I need it!
That being said, the only thing I dont love about this product is that they are designed for straight bottles. If you use Ventaire, or other curved bottles, you will need to adjust the incline for proper flow, but this is easily solved with a folded handtowel under the pillow. Also, it would be nice if the fabric were removable, rather than machine washing the entire pillow (it takes a pretty good while to dry), this way you would have interchangable designs also..kind of like the Boppy!
Overall, this product is very helpful for the busy mom who wishes she had another set of hands, but like any product, it has its flaws. At the end of the day, I would definitely recommend the Baba Buddy to other moms!

American Baby Company Waterproof Fitted Quilted Cradle Mattress Pad Review

(More customer reviews)I was thoroughly disappointed to find that the "American Baby Company" cradle sheets and cradle mattress pads I bought were in fact made in China.When I opened the package I could smell the preservatives or something off-gassing. I am not sure that whatever chemical it is will be completely removed by washing, and there is no way I will risk the health of my grandbaby.I am returning these and ordering US-made, chemical-free pads and sheets.Lesson learned.

Lansinoh Breastmilk Storage Bottles Review

(More customer reviews)We bought these bottles to use with our Medela PIS and Ameda Purley Yours Breast Pumps, yes, we bought both. We chose to use these bottles since the Medela 5 oz bottles cost a bit more, and the Ameda bottles are not BPA free. The Lansinoh bottles work great with both brands! The only thing I don't like is that the caps are two piece caps and the Medela Bottles have the solid one piece lids. I just use my 80ml Medela bottle lids with these since we are no longer using them anyway, and they work great and there are no pieces to loose. You can put any standard bottle nipple ring on the bottles so you don't have to change bottles if you don't want too, and you can just throw some nipples and rings already put togehter in a zip bag and throw them in your diaper bag for later. You can also find the Lansinoh storage bottles here on amazon in the 8 and 12 pks!! Hope this helps.

(More customer reviews)I've been using these wipes (with the warmer) for about a week now and thought I'd give my $0.02.The warmer itself is great and very simple to set up and use (even at 3 AM).The wipes seem to be a controversial item, however.I like them.I like them a great deal better than disposable wipes.My son seems to like the fact that they're warm (although he's not too fussy about the cold disposables) and they clean him considerably better than the disposables do (I have yet to need more than one cloth warmie where I've needed several disposables).They are, however, somewhat fragile, but I've got a few suggestions for dealing with that.First, don't throw them in the dryer.I don't care what the label says.It isn't necessary anyway.You're just going to moisten them before you put them in the warmer anyway, so take them right from the washer, wet them with the formula of your choice (I like the water/baby wash/olive oil formula included in the package) and put them back in the warmer.Second, make sure you don't wash them with anything that has velcro on it.I guarantee you a cloth will get stuck to the velcro and will get torn up when you pull them apart.Other than that, I haven't had any problems with them and am really pleased not to be adding the crazy amounts of wipes my kid was going through to landfills.

(More customer reviews)This pad is perfectly safe for babies, I'm sure the other reviewer hasn't actually seen one. No one is more paranoid than I am about this, believe me. This pad is only two inches thick - not like the 6" mattress toppers the other reviewer is likely thinking of - and once you add a mattress pad and sheet over it, the surface doesn't sink down enough to trap a baby's nose.It's a little hard to explain, but if you have a memory foam mattress, you'll know what I mean when I say the "sinkability" goes down once you add a mattress pad and sheet over it.

I tested the safety of the pad by watching both my twin daughters with their faces planted directly nose-down, and still they could breathe without any hindrance.So as you can imagine the padding isn't much, but it still does help baby to sleep more comfortably.

I have one pad already, and just purchased a second.The girls sleep soundly on this pad - typically 10-11 hours straight - whereas they wake up every hour with their unpadded crib mattress.It's just too uncomfortable for them.You can see why I had to buy a second one of these!

(More customer reviews)I got this body support about a week ago and I love it! Not only that, my daughter loves it too. My favorite thing is that the strap covers are small enough for her straps. All the others that I saw were too big for her straps! It keeps her very cozy and she cuddles right into her seat now. Makes the rides in the car much more pleasant when they are comfortable. She is 2 months old now and I wish they had had it when she was born because I definately would have bought it. It is also reversible which I love but I have kept it on the soft side so far. I definately recommend it!

Leachco Booty Boost - Non-Slip Booster Cushion - Purple Review

(More customer reviews)Updated: As I removed the cushion from my daughter's chair, I noticed the back strap holding it to the chair was already tearing away.So "Pro #1" is off the list.I'd change it down to a 1 star, but the page isn't giving me that option.

Pros (not nearly enough to outweigh the cons, but enough to make me feel bad giving it 1 star):
1) It is very nicely made.The fabric seems durable, and the seams look well done.
2) The fabric wipes off better than a cloth seat cushion.

Cons:
1) It is a quite thick booster, and not really adjustable at all.I expected to be able to pat the beads around to arrange it to the height my 2 yr old daughter would need, but there is no way to remove any of the filling, and only a tiny bit of the filling can actually be shoved out of the way due to the shape in which the cushion is sewn.When my daughter is sitting in it, she can't get her legs under the table, so she has to sit pretty far back from the table and food gets all over her lap.

2) My daughter can't climb in and out of the chair anymore.She could easily climb in and out of her high chair that strapped to the dining room chair, so it's not like she isn't capable of climbing fairly well.It's that this booster is too high, so she can't reach the back of the chair above it to grab hold, and shifts around so much that she can't get a firm surface to climb onto.Then, once she's up there, the bean bag stuffing is very lopsided and not comfortable or easy to sit on at all, and my very patient daughter ends up yelling in frustration.I'm back to having to lift her into the chair so that she plops straight down to properly situate the bean bag stuffing.I haven't had to do this in at least 4 months, and it is very annoying.

Summary:Waste of money, waste of space, waste of plastic, wish I could return it.After three days of use, I will be replacing this with one or two cheap tie-back seat pads from Wal-Mart.I should have done this in the first place (I saw a friend stack two together so that her daughter could reach the table comfortably), but I was tempted by the wipe-clean fabric and other good reviews.

Leachco Prop 'R Shopper - Shopping Cart Cover - Sage Pin Dot Review

(More customer reviews)I had high hopes for this shopping cart cover, and in some respects, it did deliver. Unfortunately it mostly goes unused, and we've started using one of the extra-large, elasticized "floppy" covers instead.

Basically, the cover is very well designed, it's just too small. I love the little side pillows, which can be removed as baby gets bigger. The pockets and toy straps are really useful, and the way the bag rolls up into a neat little duffel is pretty ingenious. The design for attaching the cover to the cart using Velcro would be terrific - if it fit! Unfortunately, this cover is too small to be used properly in an average size shopping cart. I tried it on the carts at Target, and there was no way I could actually wrap the front of the cover around the handle of the cart and attach it with the provided Velcro. If I had, the bottom of the leg openings would sit about five inches ABOVE the seat! I've examined the photo included with the product description closely and concluded that either the one they sent me is much smaller, or the shopping cart used for the photo is incredibly small.

Oh, and one other thing - the color and pattern. Not a big deal, but the color/pattern is not as pictured on the product description. It is indeed a "sage pin dot" - that is, it's sage green with white pin or polka dots.

Overall a great idea for a design, but poorly executed. Unless you're shopping at stores with tiny carts, I'd look for a different style of cart cover.

Kiddopotamus SwaddleMe 100% Cotton Knit Small Review

(More customer reviews)First off, I really love this product.It's the quickest, easiest way to swaddle my baby girl, who sleeps much better at night when she's securely wrapped up.We went with this kind of swaddle over a blanket because she has been a "mobile sleeper" since birth, and always managed to wriggle out of our blanket swaddle.Note that these notes below pertain to the small size.

Now - here's what you need to know about sizing, based on my three months of experience and multiple attempts to get it right.
- There are three kinds of swaddle fabrics at the time I'm writing this:
1. Flannel (in the gingham prints)
2. Fleece
3. Cotton jersey (like a t-shirt).This variety has the most options in terms of patterns and colors.

I've arranged them in that order because that's the order of smallest to largest.The flannel variety stretches, well, not at all. It's the smallest of the three types of fabrics, therefore, in terms of fit.(My daughter outgrew her small size swaddle at 13 pounds, after washing it a few times - even though it's supposed to fit up to 14.)The fleece variety does stretch a bit - she's now 15 pounds and this still fits her.

The cotton variety is the stretchiest one - and it REALLY stretches.The first time after I wash and dry it, it's pretty snug.But if I'm lucky enough to get 2 or 3 nights of use out of it, by the third night it's considerably bigger than it was.I just bought another small cotton one and my baby's 15 pounds.

What's more, I just bought a flannel gingham swaddle in large, and that fits her great.(But the cotton variety in large was HUGE and I'm returning it.)Anyway - hope this is helpful to all of you out there.This is a great product and I wish you luck!

(More customer reviews)Our daughter loved being swaddled and we DID have blankets that did the trick, but we liked the idea of it being a little easier and more secure thanks to the velcro.I lookd all over the we and read a lot of reviews.I had first chose the Miracle Blanket but returned it as soon as it arrived and I bought the Swaddle Me - much better!!The fleece is super soft and warm - I am ordering the cotton one for daytime swaddling.One point - the sizes - they never mention the weights it covers. The small is NB-14 pounds and the Large is 15 and up. My daughter is 13.12 and she does fine with the Large- and she will grow into it. I found no issues with the velcro being scratchy - nothing like that.

Stokke Tripp Trapp Baby Set Review

(More customer reviews)Okay, I was hesitant to buy this for our Tripp Trapp, but as we wanted to use it with our then-5 month old, we didn't have any choices as the old baby rail is discontinued and doesn't fit with the new model Tripp Trapps anyway.

We took the plunge. I have no idea what all the problems described in other reviews are about, because this set works great for us. We have no problems putting our 7 1/2 month old into this chair and baby rail set. We don't have any cushions installed because he makes a mess when he eats and would just get the cushions all dirty. But, we got a good deal and free cushions with the set so I just put them away for later. We don't usually use the seat belt presently because he likes sitting in the chair and doesn't try to escape. He just sits on top of the seat belt for now.

My son is about 27 inches tall and weighs at least 19 pounds. He's a very long and lean little guy. He sits up very well on his own now, but even before he was sitting well without help, he could sit in the Tripp Trapp with the baby rail and eat at the dinner table with us. The rail doesn't make him too far away from the table. In fact, I'm surprised at how far he can reach. We give him graham crackers to chew, and he can put them down on the table in front of him and pick them up as he likes.

We think he likes sitting here and eating so much better than when he had to sit on the floor in the bouncy seat to eat. Now, he's entertained sitting at our level during dinner. Thanks to the baby set which we added to the Tripp Trapp, he can do this at an earlier age. I do have to say that there is a potential for food to drip down between him and the baby rail when he leans back, but we use the Baby Bjorn bibs which have a great tray for catching food drips. Awesome combination, so our son stays mostly clean now when he eats.

UPDATE: My son is now 11 months old, weighs 21 lbs and is 28 inches tall. He still fits in the chair with the baby rail just fine and seems like he has plenty of room to grow. The chair with the rail scoots up to our table very well so he can reach for foods we put on the table in front of him for him to feed himself. I love how he can be right by us as we all eat, and not off to the side with a tray on the front of his high chair blocking him from pulling up to the family table.
