(More customer reviews)I am really disgusted that I paid a premium to purchase the Organic version of this product only to discover the organic cotton was covering vinyl. These metals create a dust that can be inhaled or ingested if they have their mouths on them. PVC products contain and can leach toxic additives like phthalates, lead,
cadmium, organotins, and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are associated with
reproductive and developmental problems, central nervous system damage, liver damage and other
adverse health effects. During manufacturing and waste incineration PVC releases dioxins into the
air. Dioxins are linked with cancer, diabetes, endometriosis, birth defects, infertility, and immunesystem
depression. Organic...yeah right! Just another company misleading the public by selling something as safer and chemical free to just sell the same old toxic crap. Beware of Serta organic mattresses too. THe have organic pads covered with toxic flame retardant.
