(More customer reviews)I'm a new mother of twins & was wanting to nurse at the same time to keep them on the same schedule. This pillow's definitely roomy enough for them. However, I did not care for the side that was angled downwards towards the center (where mommy inserts & straps herself in for nursing). Reason being, is that, when feeding two at a time, which can be a bit challenging in itself, & they start to fall asleep, the angle downwards creates a slide affect, so their heads usually end up falling into the area where the mother's belly's slowly but surely shrinking back to pre-prego size. I've had to do a lot of repositioning, which can be cumbersome when there's two to make sure the other's not falling off while adjusting the other. I've also found that I've nodded off a few times, being sleep deprived, while nursing at all hours of the day & night, so I make sure I use the opposite side, which is flat, so as not to have worries of suffication while we all are napping together. Overall I truly like this pillow! It's highly recommended if you tend to have massive back pain from carrying around an extra 25+lb load in the front for several months. The cushion is definitely thick/high enough so there's no hunching involved (I can only speak for myself, being large-breasted, so the small-breasted women might have some hunching over issues). Also, to anyone who actually makes it through my review, if you are new parents (or single parent) of twins, I wish you all the luck in the breastfeeding world! I thought I was a human milk factory w/ my now 5y/o when he was a wee tot, but there's nothing to prepare you for multiples! Have faith in yourself, & never give up! I've even contemplated on painting black spots all over me & start mooing (that was my self-humour moment...)!

But oh, am I glad I went ahead. This is the Cadillac version - well-made, firm foam, easy to use clasp, plenty of back support to lean against, comfy fleece cover, and the correct height for feeding.My EZ-2-Nurse was so not EZ.The zipper broke the 2nd time it was washed, the nylon belt does not stay tight, it is difficult to put on with one hand (and a baby in the other), and worst of all, the sides are sloped in so that the babies always rolled in towards me.Oh yes, and it is too low, meaning I either had to raise my legs up under it, or lean over to get at the right height for feeding, which was murder on my back. I also bought the Brest Friend single pillow, a while back, as I hated to use the EZ-2-Nurse.But with this pillow (unlike the EZ), you could feed single (in a cradle or football position) or double.

My wife tried a boppy for the first month then got this, which she used continually for the next six.

You can even use it standing up or when you move around since the strap goes around your back.The strap also provides back & lumbar support.The pocket is a nice touch (you put your Lansinoh, cell phone, baby nail clippers, etc in it)The only possible downside is it isn't that easy to put on with one hand (for example, if you are already cradling the baby)

If you're price sensitive look around, there are often significant discounts for older colors.

DreamGenii™ Maternity Body Support and Feeding Pillow Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this pillow based on the positive reviews on Amazon, which I want to thank every reviewer that posted. Informative shopping is the way to go. I'm overwhelmingly glad I got it - I love this pillow. That said, I've never tried another preggie pillow, so I don't have anything to compare it to. What works for me could possibly be related to my size, etc.

I'm about 5'8", small build. I've had achy hips & knees prior to being pregnant and buying a memory foam mattress topper helped remedy that. Being pregnant added new challenges. The pillow supports very well where I need it most-knees, belly, back and breasts. It is soft enough, comfortable enough and still firm enough that you can tilt on your back a bit, but still be mostly on your side as doctors recommend for pregnancy. This pillow keeps me pretty comfortable considering I'm a back sleeper and side sleeping is not natural for me.

Being pregnant, I've found myself going for roomier comfort (bigger bathroom stalls, looser clothes, isle seats, etc). I don't feel the pillow takes up too much room on our queen-sized bed typically shared with a couple of cats. I've tried using the photographic set up like you see here on Amazon & the packaging, but it doesn't suit me. I take up the right side of the bed (if you're looking at it, not in it) and I prefer to lay on my left keeping the shorter side of the pillow by the edge side of the bed for quick maneuvering to the loo in the middle of the night. This way I'm not climbing over that longer side or bonking my poor hubby or kitty in the head with it if I fold it upward. With the shorter side set up on my left, it supports my stomach and breasts better. Not to mention, then the longer side stays along my back really preventing me from rolling onto my back and the "tail end" of the pillow still curves in and supports my knees. Brilliant!

The only drawback to this product - finding additional or different pillow covers. The pillow comes with a simple white cover that's machine washable & dryable. You'll have to order covers from UK sites because this is a UK product. Shipping to the US is pricey. I was lucky enough to talk a nice UK eBay seller into letting me pay int'l shipping for his very affordably priced Dream Genii cover on eBay UK. It took a few weeks, but now I have a back up cover in case something happens to the first one (I get too pooped to wash it). I still feel happy with my purchase and that it deserves 5 stars.

UPDATE --
After using the DG for pregnancy, we now use it as a boppy-type pillow for the baby. What I didn't mention above months ago is that the DG pillow folds into a u-shape and the baby sits inside, supporting baby's body, neck and head. During my recovery, it kept my baby very comfortable next to me or on my lap, helping with feedings or just adoring my little one. My kid loves being it and I can't be happy enough with how helpful it's been during my pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Postpartum, I was on bed rest with weight bearing restrictions, had mobility issues and the worst pain of my life. Products like this are a Godsend. It's a tool that has many uses. And I can't put a price on being able to have my baby near during this amazing, yet stressful time.

(More customer reviews)Let me say that this pillow has been a god-send to me!From the very early weeks of my pregnancy, I have been experiencing fairly severe hip pain after I wake up.I tried putting a traditional body pillow in between my legs at night to relieve the pain, but it didn't help.I still ended up turning over 4 or 5 times every night because my hips were hurting so badly.I finally gave in at about 7 months and bought this pillow.I wish I would have had it all along! Here is what I love about it:

1. It contours to my body very well, so my belly is supported at all times.
2. If I do turn over to sleep on my other side, I don't have to turn the pillow too because it wraps all the way around me!
3. I have not had any hip pain since I started sleeping with this pillow.I used to ache for at least an hour after waking up and even limped sometimes because the pain was so bad.Now, I wake up feeling great!
4. It is not as big as it looks in the pictures.I am 5'8" and it fits me fine.I thought it would be way too big and take up my whole bed, but it doesn't.My husband and I have a queen size bed and we can both sleep comfortably without the pillow getting in his way.

I would recommend this product to any pregnant woman.I know you will sleep well with it!

The seam of the inside curve on both ends is sewn while pulled very tightly, so when I position my head on top, this tight seam digs into my shoulder. I have tried to ease it by pushing it up against the headboard, or making sure the whole pillow wasn't held taut, or draping it with an extra pillowcase, but nothing I do has helped. I wake up with a sore shoulder, which stinks because I love the rest of the pillow! I'm going to see if it's returnable, and I'm going to try the one shaped like a "6", and use my own pillow for my head. Oh well!

(More customer reviews)I was a little hesitant about purchasing this product regarding a few of the issues some reviews mentioned (price, quality, seam, size), but now that I have used it I am incredibly glad I bought it.I am 6 months pregnant, 5'7" and have a fairly slender build and sleep on a queen size bed with my husband.

Here are the things I love about this pillow:

1.My overall sleep time has increased and deep sleep has improved.I think this is because the pillow hugs all around my body and I can roll over without adjusting 4 pillows.Now I don't even have to move the pillow, it is already where it needs to be.

2.Before pregnancy I always slept on my back and the switch to side sleeping has been incredibly difficult.This pillow has helped me feel comfortable on my side as well as offer kind of an in-between back and side position.Also, it has kept me from rolling on my back naturally while I sleep, which has been most helpful.

3.There are many positions to use this pillow as well as many positions you can assume with each pillow position.It also supports a growing belly very nicely.

4.I personally find the pillow stuffing to be pleasantly soft yet supportive at the same time.

5.This pillow is great for mid afternoon rests and short breaks.

6.Though it is a bit bulky it takes up only my half of the bed (queensize).My husband has not been annoyed or cramped because of it.In fact he often snuggles up against it in the night.

Cons: (minor ones at that)
1.A little pricey.But what price would you pay for a better, less miserable night of sleep.

2.Slightly rough pillowcase.

3.Less snuggle time through the night with hubby, but we can still be pretty close.

This pillow has fit my needs very well and has been worth the money.

**As an update. June 2008.This pillow has really helped me post partum.Nursing has been easier, it is very comforting to snuggle in when I'm feeling a little blue, and my body aches have been reduced thanks to it's many support positions.I personally feel that I would not have been very comfortable without this pillow especially the last 2 months of pregnancy.

I have one additional complaint about it.the pillow case became quitenubby and even more rough in some spots (mostly the area that my feet and legs occupied).

(More customer reviews)I just bought this item from Giggle online for 30 dollars and received it today. I really like it, along with the George, matching sham, which was 38 dollars. For the record, toddler pillows are NOT supposed to be super plush, as they can turn their faces into them and restrict breathing. The pillow should be small and only moderately plush. If our flattens a bit, I am fine with that. Of course, you could always fluff it up a bit if you feel that is needed. Toddler pillows are supposed to be appropriate for kids aged 2 and up, and I think this is a very nice one to start with. I love that the filling is a soft wool batting, which will wick away moisture.
I think this will be a great addition for our daughter's crib, as well as on car rides and plane trips. Very nice and well made, as is the George Sham. FYI, the pics of the sham are not great, and make it look rumpled, but I think it looks great in person. :)

(More customer reviews)I purchased a Boppy pillow because I am a nursing mom and needed the support.Unfortunately I found that my daughter would roll around and could not get comfortable or stay in one place to nurse unles she was perfectly placed on it.This pillow is great!It is so comfortable and I don't worry about my daughter (1 month) wiggling out of it or ending up slumped over on it.If you're a nursing mom consider this before a Boppy!It is much softer and baby will stay put without rolling around. (I am glad I bought the Boppy with the gym, it wasn't a total waste!)My two year old daughter also loves to snuggle with this pillow and I find myself doing the same!In my opinion it is definately worth the money.
Note- My daughter is now almost three months old and we still use this every day... it is as great as the day we got it, it really holds up!I only wish it came with a cover!(It is recommended that you only spot clean this pillow, washing it will make it lumpy... yuck!)However, I had one made fairly inexpensive at our dry cleaner... we just brought in the fabric and pillow and now we just toss that into the wash when needed.Still very happy with this pillow!

My Brest Friend Travel Nursing Pillow, Sunburst, 0-12 Months Review

(More customer reviews)This is an inflatable nursing pillow which is excellent for travelling. We were able to use it on the plane without having to stack up pillows and blankets under our baby.
Now that we are visiting the grandparents for two months, I use this pillow around the house too - but only occasionally. The baby sweats on it which is not a problem with an ordinary nursing pillow that we left at home. The cover is pretty thin.
The zipper broke when we were pulling the cover on the pillow. So the tip here is not to inflate the pillow fully when putting on the cover and inflate the pillow to the desired size (preferrably not too tightly) with the cover on. The same goes with deflating and packing the pillow for future uses.
The pillow also helps to hold our 5-month old baby on my lap. It elevates her and provides flat surface for sitting or standing her with my help.

(More customer reviews)As a mom and a Doula I can not recommend this product enough!!!!First as a mom who birthed babies over 10 pounds, the last trimester was miserable until I found this product which allowed me to get some much need sleep, in at least some comfort.
As a doula I recommend all my clients get one to well into their second trimester, to be prepared early.
Once the baby is born I found it was extrememly helpful, when my babies had colds and needed to be slightly elevated.It fit nicely in their cradle.

(More customer reviews)I bought this Snoogle with the 100% cotton jersey cover after returning the Original Snoogle to Babies r Us(which in my opinon came with scratchier cover). It's great! Very comfortable!Here's the thing- If you get the original Snoogle and then later buy the 100% cotton cover seperately, that cover is $30ish on top of the price of the Snoogle. It's cheaper to buy them together like this set. Hence, I'm happy with this purchase. Though I do wish the overall cost of the product wasn't so much, it is helping me sleep at night.Also, would like if there was a wider pillow portion so minus a star.I still would recommend this to other women who are pregnant and wanting help with sleeping on their side.
