(More customer reviews)Okay, maybe nothing can make it easy, but with this pillow, it's at least possible, and quite fast to make happen. I've managed with strategically placed bed pillows, but it takes minutes to get together and only moderate success with quite variable results.With the EZ-2-Nurse Twins pillow, the guess-work is taken out of pillow positioning.My twins are one month old now, and I have to say that feeding them has been the _easiest_ part of learning how to live with them, thanks to this pillow.I have two of these--one blue and one twins print--and keep one upstairs and one downstairs for convenience.
Negatives:
- Limited colors and prints, and no 'greener' alternative fabric or inner material.I find the twins print hideous but didn't have a choice when I bought my second one.
- The pillowcase is a little hard to get back on after washing.
- The protective pillow cover (cotton with plastic backing) slips off very easily--needs to be safety-pinned on to offer any real protection.
- Limits you to the football hold while using the pillow. (I don't find this problematic because it happens to be my twins' favorite position anyway.
I gave the pillow 4 stars because of these negatives.I haven't tried any other brand of twin pillow, but I'd definitely recommend this brand to anyone who wants to breastfeed their twins.I was completely unable to use a breastfeeding pillow with my first (singleton) child (tried My Brest Friend and Boppy), but the design of this pillow, the way the top is angled down toward mommy's body, really helps.It positions the babies better for reaching the breasts, as well as keeping them from rolling outward.The harder foam construction also makes babies stay in position better.I bought mine used because I didn't know if this design would be a good fit for me; but I definitely find them worth the full retail price, now that I've tried them.
