(More customer reviews)When preparing to have our first child I bought one of each kind of swaddle, not knowing what we would like the best. We've also tried the standard 'receiving' blanket and some nice stretchy ones. This one we liked the least. My baby wiggles a lot when settling for sleep and every time she moved she would hear the velcro coming apart a little and it would bother her. She had a very hard time falling asleep in it. The Miracle blanket works best for her because it does a better job at keeping her arms down than others and doesn't have noisy velcro on it. I've also tried the sleep sacks. As she's getting more and more arm control I'm finding that she is slowly liking the "Halo Sleep Sack" better, but at night she still needs her arms confined. I also like the sleep sack idea because it is only one layer of blanket (where this SwaddleMe is two in the front when closed. The other thing I didn't like about the SwaddleMe or the Miracle Blanket is that with my baby's wiggling she invariably ends up with a gap between the feet sack and the top part and since we tend to use t-shirts rather than onsies her belly gets exposed and cold. So, I wouldn't recommend this for an active, noise sensitive baby.

Safe Fit Seat Belt Adjuster Review

(More customer reviews)At 5'5" I am of average height, but the placement of the shoulder seat belt in most cars causes the belt to inch its way toward my throat as I drive. I have often had visions of decapitation in the event of a bad rear-end collision. (More customer reviews)We recieved this chair two weeks ago and our 3 month old son loves it.He will not take naps in his crib, so we had to get him something to sleep in (other than in my arms).He LOVES sleeping in his chair (as well as just sitting in it watching his big brother).The music is very soothing...lullabies with an Asian twist.Plus some nature sounds that include hearbeat sounds.Plus, it has a volume control.Also, the vibration option for the chair is a lot smoother than other chairs we have had.I don't mind turning it on with this chair...no way with our old Graco bouncy seat.The chair is easy to fold up and carry (very lightweight), so you can carry the chair in one hand and the baby in your other arm.Note:this is not a bouncy seat.

Sealy Natural Cotton Crib Mattress Pad Review

(More customer reviews)I searched high and low for a mattress pad that did not contain any plastics or waterproof treatment.I do NOT want my babies to breathe chemicals all night while they sleep.And frankly, since every crib mattress is covered in plastic, what is the point of a waterproof pad anyway?We have gone to great lengths here to keep all of these chemicals away from our babies including a special cover for the mattress (to keep off-gasses away) and a wonderful, thick wool topper, which is what I wanted to cover.We just slip some wool puddle-pads in between the topper and the mattress pad to keep the topper from getting wet and everything is fine.I highly recommend this product over ANY waterproof pad out there.

Evenflo Tribute V Convertible Car Seat, Abby II Review

(More customer reviews)We have a very tight budget right now, like many of you do too. So it's good to keep in mind that all car seats have to pass the same safety inspections by the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin (google them for more car seat info). The reason all these car seats have different prices are due to comfort and style. We were not concerned about style so much, but we did want our baby to be comfy in case we take long road trips. We went to Walmart and felt the padding in all the seats. We stuck our daughter in some of the seats to make sure everything lined up right with the straps. I suggest you do the same, even if you end up buying it from Amazon because it might save a few bucks.

We chose this car seat because it's cushioning is equivalent to many of the high end models. It doesn't recline, but I didn't want to pay another $50 for the model that did. My daughter's head does slump when she falls asleep, but a kid-sized neck rest mostly fixed that.

Installation was easy enough, although I'm not strong enough to pull the straps down tight (small woman). I assume this will be a similar problem with all car seats.

The straps that buckle the child in are a little odd, but if you take a good look at them before you install the car seat it all makes sense. I got used to the side tightening buckle really quickly and it doesn't bother my daughter.

It fits well in our Honda Civic and VW Jetta, although we put it to one side and can't use one of the trays (snack or cup holder) because it blocks the car door. So we left one off (my daughter doesn't know the difference). We could do without the flimsy arm rests - in fact we left them off, too.

It's tempting to buy the car seats that you can use from 0-100 lbs, but it's silly if you're planning on having multiple children. As soon as our daughter is ready for a booster seat we'll probably have her younger sibling graduating to this car seat. With that in mind, why spend a lot of money on the super fancy all-in-one models?

Hugga-Bebe Infant Support Cushion Review

(More customer reviews)I have had the Hugga Bebe for a week now and I LOVE it!It's recommended for 4 mo and up, but at 2.5 months, my little one has exceptional head and neck control.Therefore, I wanted her to start enjoying her exersaucer, Johnny Jumper, and outdoor infant swing.The Hugga Bebe completely supports her and keeps her safe and comfortable in all three.Even if her head did fall forward, the product is so soft and cushioned that she wouldn't be hurt.A word to the wise though; if you put a child this young in one, make absolutely sure there isn't any issue with them suffocating in the fabric.My child is tall enough to clear the top of it, even when she slumps a bit, and has enough control to lift/hold her head away from the fabric.Don't use this at all until your baby can do that.

The only downfalls I can find are; 1) The fabric is rather warm and the product doesn't "breathe", so on a hot summer day I wouldn't use this outside or in a non-airconditioned home and 2) My LO mouths and drools on the fabric closest to her face, so I wouldn't want her daycare center to have any other baby using her personal one, if I send it with her. 3)I haven't washed it yet, but I'm guessing it will take a very long time to dry because of how thick it is.It doesn't have a removable cover, so you have to wash the entire product. The good news is that it can go in the dryer and you have the option of only washing the front half if that is the only dirty part. I think it may feel dry to the touch out of the dryer, but could possibly still be internally wet and make a child damp and cold if so.

Overall, the Hugga Bebe one of those "must have's" for an infant and would make a fabulous gift too.I think the price point is great as well!

(More customer reviews)I bought this originally because I started Stroller Strides when our baby was 3-1/2 months old and didn't like his car seat when he was in the stroller.I thought this would help pad the Bob and help him fit better as well as keep him extra warm.It's pricey but it fits the stroller perfectly and now that it's summer I just turned it around.I can also put ice packs under the seat and it's thick enough that it will keep him cool but not cold.It's worth the investment to get this one made specifially for the Bob rather than a cheaper on that won't fit as well.Also helps pad the straps so they don't rub on a smaller baby.
