(More customer reviews)I used this for my baby's first month or so, while we were still getting the hang of breastfeeding.It was very comfortable and gave great support.I then stopped using it because I found it too awkward and time-consuming to put on and take off, especially while trying to hold the baby in one hand while he is wriggling and screaming for a meal.At those times, I wished I had a Boppy that I could just shove around my waist in a hurry.

My 7-year old daughter uses it to help her support the baby when she wants to hold him.It works GREAT for that, she can hold him without having to support all his weight with her arms.

PROS: It is very comfortable to wear and supported both me and the baby very well.This is a quality product, very sturdy and well-made.The cover zips off for washing.

CONS:It can be difficult to get the pillow around you and fastened when you are holding a baby in one hand.When your baby starts learning to sit up and you want something to support him on the floor, the Boppy works, but My Brest Friend doesn't.

(More customer reviews)The removable cover (zipper) makes this easy to clean (just make sure the velcro is stuck to itself when you wash it or it will stick to all your nice socks.

My wife tried a boppy for the first month then got this, which she used continually for the next year.

You can even use it standing up or when you move around since the strap goes around your back.The strap also provides back & lumbar support.The pocket is a nice touch (you put your Lansinoh, cell phone, baby nail clippers, etc in it)The only possible downside is it isn't that easy to put on with one hand (for example, if you are already cradling the baby)

If you're price sensitive look around, there are often significant discounts for older colors.

(More customer reviews)I am now almost 5 months pregnant and was waking up every morning with back pain and hip pain from not sleeping comfortably. I tried a regular pillow between my legs, but found it was not enough support. I then saw this pillow in Babies R Us and bought it. I LOVE it! I love how it's all in one, a pillow to support my belly and for in between my legs to keep my hips aligned. I like the softness of the pillow and it's not too big and offensive that it kicks my husband out of bed. It's easy to roll with me from side to side in the middle of the night and now I also use it to sit up in bed at night when I read.

I think this is a great product especially considering it is cheaper then some of the other products on the market and it provides support right where I need it so I don't need 5 different pillows or wedges to support me and my growing belly. I definitely recommend it to anyone!

(More customer reviews)After reading the reviews on these, I was confused.One reviewer said it was too small for her kids, another said it was too big.I figured I needed to find out for myself, so I took a chance and purchased one.I'm pleasantly surprised.I have 3 kids, ages 7, 5 and 1.I originally intended to purchase 3, but I think I'll go with 2 for now.This will definitely be too big for the baby, and I don't think she'd be able to use it as intended until she's at least 2 or 3.By that time my oldest MAY have outgrown it.I have skinny kids with thin necks and regular-sized heads.These will be perfectly sized for them.I suppose if you have an enormous 9-year old this might be too small, but I think an adult could even use it if they needed to.

I love the softness of the pillow, and the fact that it's machine washable.People drool when they sleep. Especially kids.I couldn't believe that some of the competing products out there were surface-wash only fabric.What were they thinking?I love all of the different animals, I had a hard time choosing, but finally chose the pink hippo and the green alligator.Adorable!

I only gave the product 4-stars because it is made in China, and I think something like this could have just as easily been made in Europe or North America, and I wouldn't have to worry about what kind of chemicals it might have been sprayed with.I'm definitely going to wash mine before I let the kids use them.Hopefully the kids will like them for our 6-hour Christmas road trip, but if not...I'll be the crazy woman on the New Jersey Turnpike sleeping with a pink hippo around her neck:)

Snoogle Chic - Snoogle Total Body Pregnancy Pillow with Easy-off Zippered Cover Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this pillow after reading extensive reviews of other Snoogles.I specifically wanted the "easy" zip-on/off cover, even though it's not the most attractive pattern I've seen.

Pros:
- The cover was indeed pretty easy to put on.
- The pillow supports me well, though I suspect I will also need a small wedge under my belly as I move into the third trimester.I can use it with my back to either side, depending on my mood/ desires for support.
- It's big, but not too big for a couple in a queen bed.My husband even likes to snuggle up to the back of it.

Cons:
- The cover is too tight in one place -- at the inside edge of the top curly-q.Others have commented on this in other Snoogle reviews.What this means is that there is a taut, hard seam on that inner edge, and it could easily dig into your neck or shoulder depending on how you sleep on the pillow.I tried to massage the pillow around to distribute the filling differently, but it didn't help.And it just gets worse with use, it seems. I think the cover is just too short there.I don't think I could relieve the tension just by restitching the seam -- I'd probably have to lengthen the cover with an insert there.
- The material is not very soft.It's not bad, but it's not great, either, and requires careful washing in cold water and drying on super-low heat, if at any at all.

Overall, I sleep much better with this thing, so I give it 4 stars.But that darn seam is very frustrating!

EDITED TO ADD: The cover pills like mad after only a few washings!
