Boppy Pregnancy Wedge with Cotton Slipcover Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this pillow around 18 weeks because I didn't like the inflexibility of body pillows (which always stay the same shape) or that reviewers complained that the stuffing in the big pillows shifts around inside.
I do like this wedge a lot and will not travel without it because it defeinately takes the weight off my back by pushing up my tummy. I reccomend having a couple of other pillows though, one behind the back (to keep you from rolling over on your back while you are asleep) one under your head and one or two between your legs. This ends up being alot of pillows but they are more flexible than the body pillows and a lot cheaper. I can also throw this in a suitcase or take it to the living room for a nap or watching television on the couch, which I couldn't do with a larger pregnancy pillow.It is also comfortable to sit on (as is the regular boppy pillow) if you are on the floor for some reason or sitting up in bed.

UPDATE - not so hot after about month 7 or 8. I think this was great in the beginning, but don't expect it to solve your pregnancy related discomfort for the entire pregnancy.

(More customer reviews)I prefer the original Brest Friend covers, but I'm not crazy about the velcro strap.I love this nursing pillow overall, and it helps with positioning.I'm nursing a 3 month old and still use this pillow at home every day.I was ready to quit nursing because positioning my preemie was so difficult, but I saw this in the hospital "nursing shop" and made my husband buy it for me.WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! It's far better than the Boppy pillow and doesn't roll the baby or move from my waist.There is nothing bad I have to say about the Brest Friend... skip the popular Boppy and get this!It rescued my nursing experience.

Boys Toddler Nap Mat w/ Blanket & Pillow - Trucks Review

Crib / Toddler Baby Pillow - Made In USA Review

(More customer reviews)First of all, this is not a pillow case! Maybe I'm just stupid and I can't read, but the product description clearly states that this is a Pillow Case! In fact, it's just a bad pillow and WITHOUT a pillow case. I bought this for another crib pillow I bought because I thought I needed the pillow case. The other pillow is excellent (the NOJO Satin Toddler Pillow) and it comes with a pillow case. This one here is just trash and misrepresented trash at that!

The pillow is way too thick for a toddler. When my 17 month old daughter rests her head on this pillow her chin touches her chest (and she doesn't like to rest her head on the pillow because of that). A pillow for a toddler should be about the size of a pack of cigarettes (in thickness). This pillow is basically a throw-pillow renamed. If you argue that it's meant for older children then 1)That should have been mentioned in the product description, and 2)Older children can use regular pillows and shouldn't be sleeping in cribs that can't accommodate one.
Who cares how soft it is or how well it washes? It's not good for what it was intended so the rest is pointless. In fact my daughter has been sleeping on a regular size pillow for a month now. We gave it to her because she wanted something under her head at night and the only reason I wanted to buy a special "toddler" pillow was because the regular size is kinda scrunched between her crib bumpers. Hell, this pillow is as thick as what I sleep on.

EDIT::It has come to my attention that once again the seller has changed the picture and title of a product I reviewed (after I reviewed it and stated it was misleading). So in case you are reading this and wondering why I thought it was a pillow CASE here's my disclaimer:

When I bought this product and a few days later reviewed it (March 11 2010) the picture showed a pillow CASE (not a pillow) and the title said very clearly it was a pillow CASE (not a pillow). Both the picture and title have been altered now and it's obvious they're selling a pillow. The rest of my review still stands though. It's way too thick for its intended purpose. But at least now you know what you're buying (unless of course they change things again after this edit of this review).
